CollectiveSpend is hiring a Procurement Compliance and Reporting Specialist for a project-based, full-time on-site role with our client in Abu Dhabi. This project is expected to last for a duration of 2 years. In this role, you will support the department’s governance and reporting framework by aligning KPIs with strategic goals, driving internal audits, and promoting best practices in procurement compliance. You will facilitate strategy execution across departments by supporting the implementation of policies and procedures, risk management planning, and data-driven performance improvements.

You’ll also manage reporting structures and ensure periodic reports are accurate, complete, and aligned with departmental insights for review by key stakeholders. This role is critical in upholding procurement excellence and institutional accountability.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of governance initiatives outlined in the department’s procurement strategy

  • Perform and follow up on all internal audit findings and related recommendations to ensure timely closure

  • Provide guidance and oversee implementation of governance frameworks across procurement functions

  • Ensure strict compliance with HR, legal, and risk policies, as well as the broader organizational procurement framework

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures

  • Assist with the creation and execution of procurement risk management plans in collaboration with relevant departments

  • Monitor the performance of procurement departments and propose corrective and proactive measures for performance improvement

  • Conduct studies and apply global best practices to enhance procurement operations and promote a culture of excellence

  • Collaborate with procurement teams across DMT and affiliates to identify and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Lead efforts to improve reporting accuracy and provide insights that align with departmental strategy

  • Review and validate periodic reports from department heads for issuance to key stakeholders within DMT

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous awareness and adherence to procurement policies and procedures

  • Participate in regular audits and contribute to the development of robust compliance systems

Management Reporting

  • Support the generation of periodic procurement and governance reports

  • Proactively report quality issues or non-compliance incidents to drive transparency and improvements

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in a similar functional field, preferably with a focus on compliance, reporting, or procurement governance

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies, internal audit procedures, and compliance frameworks

  • Experience with data-driven reporting and performance tracking

  • Ability to lead process improvement and policy implementation initiatives

  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing compliance risks
